Funny, I went to a flavor tripping party last night in Houston. It was a RSVP event at a local restaurant put on by a chowhounds group and we had the actual berries. It was a great experience, very bizarre expecting one flavor from a food item and getting something totally different, we had all sorts of fruits and some stout beers, the restaurant hosting made cucumber mojitos with no sugar and they were amazing. Just did one here in the house. I love lemons, limes and oranges. You can jut sit and eat just those. The cucumber was not startling to me. The bad news is I am in Brazil right now so the fruit is fantastic without this. You really need something off to be good. Strawberries are almost too sweet here but are sort of sour in the states and then taste great with the Miracle Fruit.Comment

Well for me the thing has two "points". One is you can use it to get new tastes. Lets say you had never tried cinnamon. Apple pie might be ok but it could better with cinnamon so why not try it? The other is in my area of the US fruit is picked elsewhere and shipped unripe to preserve it. It is sour is the bottom line. This makes fruit and other stuff I tend to ignore to the detriment of my health taste incredible.
Ok three points as some people have taste buds that effected by medication, illness or other things and it can help with the flavor.
It is fun was why I got it the first time.

It's good for those people who are sweets lover. I mean they can eat anything preferably healthier foods without tasting the original taste of the food. And they only taste the sweet effect of the tablet on their buds.
For people who don't eat bitter vegetables like gourd, you can eat that already using the tablet. Or if you don't eat sour fruits, you can now by chewing in first the tablet, and you cannot taste the sourness. cool right?
