    Experienced webmaster & affiliate manager = question for ya!

    I got some customers that produce awesome content but are inexperienced webmasters. They just don't know how to run their website and even less the affiliate aspect of it.

    I am thinking about offering to 2 of them to take care of all the websites & affiliates aspect. I would even offer the affiliate software and the CMS to run the websites and updates.

    They would only have to produce the content, sit back and enjoy the money coming in.

    Question:
    How much is this work worth you think? Paid by %, fixed price% Both? How much?

          You will find they will start doing the work, get either overwhelmed or bored by it, then flake out and drop the ball.

          If you want a piece of their content then either YOU will have to do the work or hand them off to a ModelCentro or YourPaysitePartner and take a cut (I would recommend the latter).

          They're amateurs for a reason.

                              To mee it is worth it money upfront plus a %, otherwise you will start with a % they may not honor it, and hte problems start, or you start sending traffic, they stop producing content, get bored and you already did the work and get nothing, so a nice up front payment will make them put some skin on the game.

                                  A good contract to start, something that gives you the rights to the content if they fail to live up to their end instead of just pulling down your work.
                                  Risky at best.
                                  Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

                                      Partnerships can work out perfectly fine. We do them without many issues.

                                      Few notes:
                                      - get a contract, even though worthless in the end it gives a clear few on what is to be expected from each party.
                                      - make sure you have at least enough content ready for a year of updates.
                                      - keep the billing accounts on your name and your name only.
                                      - keep the domains on your name

                                                  Greatly depends who is upfronting the production costs and who is handling the marketing. Roald's guidelines are pretty spot on, but overall, it's not recommended you partner with a producer.

                                                  If you are handling the marketing, and the site is doing well, it will grow and require more maintenance. Meanwhile, the level of production remains the same. So the partnership quickly becomes unequal in terms of contribution to profit.
