How would you make money with a mainstream tech blog?

I was looking to do some mainstream stuff so started some tech blogs reviewing electronics and gadgets and I link to where people can buy them on Bestbuy, amazon, etc.

After a few months I put some money into it and Im in the hole on it, I haven't made much back really and I'm kind of depressed about it.
I know things take time but if its going to be years before I can earn an income from it then I want to drop this and look at other ideas now.

Anyone have any suggestions on how you could make a living on a tech blog? Like something you could offer that would make people open their wallets and buy?

A tough market to crack since there is so much competition, but I've seen some guys go from 100 to 30000 subs within a year on youtube so it's possible to grow if you keep working at it.
Thanks, theres no "like" button here or I would like your post

thanks, but what messages do I send to this list? Just that I have a new review up? Or what products can I come up with to sell people?
