Alot of guys tried it and failed:/

One would think it would be more succesful. I really thought it would be when I was on some projects doing it a while back. Maybe it was to early I am not sure.

I think many guys went and made mobile content within the subscription sites and I heard it does OK within those as an extended service.

Which is a great idea, but I didnt invent it.

yeah i'm sure it's not real lucrative traffic to base a new project off of

i just happen to have a bunch of throwaway mobile traffic and nothing to do with it

Well ya could hook up with cE or something. I know that CECash has some info on Mobile on thier tours I think the Cybererotica site has mention of it. Or a program that has Mobile content in the sections and make a basic tour that pushes Mobile on it. Just an idea.

HEhe maybe I should shut up and think about this more.
Or better yet...

Just checked Cybererotica tour, yeah they got it on the tour. So get some banners with Mobile on em and direct them to a special tour

of course i am just making an educated guess that a bunch of this traffic is on wap

who knows how many people are surfing with advanced interfaces these days (iphone, etc)

Yes as a matter of fact

THey not really pages oper say just kinda banners that fit nice ina mobile device window, all the different sizes of mobile devices these days makes it kinda sketchy.

I set up a website for iAlien made for the PSP screen resolution and it was fun but I do not think it got me any business LOL it was just for fun,.

With some browser detection and forwarding one could prolly cover alot of ground for different screens sizes. Or just put a mobile version link on the site.

On my PSP I surf AL4a and it works good LOL

OH also the problem in the past I think with Mobile to a degree was processing.

And even today it may be a problem to secure a sale on many mobile devices unless of course it has SSL encryption enabled browser, however some people did cell phone billing via the Cell Service provider and along with that many cell service providers made things difficult.

In Europe it took off alot stronger than the states as there processing was not to hampered by Cell Service providers. But again its kinda 2 different layers of problems that do have solutions but still not perfected. Wifi is becomming rampant and thats at least good.

I think thats about the long short of mobile. SSL would definatly make Adult based transactions on mobile devices alot easier.

Most of our customers use SMS as a billing solution, users are billed via SMS but enjoy content on their PC.
