Only my close friends know of my Golden Girls obsession. They're quite comforting. What's weird is I woke up this morning with a strong desire to watch them so I put in a GG dvd to play in the background. Even though I've watched em over and over for years, Sophia can still get me chuckling.

Strange timing. Blanche was on some talk show this morning, whle I was getting ready for work.

Randomly the host asked " Do you talk to any of the Golden Girls (or something like that)?"

And she replied "Do you still talk to everyone you ever worked with? I hate when people ask that"

2 hours later Estelle Getty dies. Bet she feels like an ass.

I use to watch this show with my grandma relegiously. I cant believe she is gone. I read she took care of her son in law who had aids before he died because he son in laws parents did not want anything to do with him. RIP Estelle
