Yeah right.
So whose Russian made drone was it?
BEIRUT ? Turkish warplanes downed an unidentified drone Friday near Turkey?s border with Syria, officials said, marking the latest incident of hostile fire in the region?s increasingly tense airspace.
Russia, which sent military aircraft into Syria last month, denied that any of its air fleet in Syria has been hit. But a senior U.S. defense official said the drone shot down by Turkey appears to be Russian made.
?It?s certainly not ours,? said the official, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive information.
