    Two blog related questions. Opinions needed.

    Hello, I got two blog related questions I'd like to discuss.
    1. Is it profitable to link blog posts directly to sponsor's FHGs or is there any sens in hosting galleries within your blog matching blog design etc? It is not a question of time or resources. I'm interested in difference in sales only.
    2. Everyone says the more sponsors you got within your blog the better. Can someone explain why? The blog posts cont still remains the same.

      I link my posts to both FHG's and tours and make sales through both.

      I can't see why more sponsors is better.

              As long as the design of the FHG is good then just go with those. Don't waste more time than you need too. Spend the time you save either making more blogs and therefore more money (y) If you want to link trade let me know

              If the design is shitty though and doesn't look appealing then host your own.

                  I tried both ways in past with the same results. Your own galleries are good for SE, build them with SEO rules and soon will be indexed.

                  As for your 2nd question, i can't give you any advice. I use only 2-3 sponsors per blog. If i had a huge amount of traffic i could use more.

                          I think hosting your own galleries has a great benefit of having more pages on your site. I think google likes this a lot

                              I've done both and I definitely see better results from my own hosted galleries. I can control exactly how they look, add loads of keywords, and it keeps the clicks on my site. Google loves a nicely written site with lots of content. It used to be a real pain to build the galleries. I did it with an external script and wrote the HTML links myself. I recently discovered UUGallery and it makes things infinitely easier. I'd say, with UUGallery, you'd be nuts not to host your own galleries with all the benefits.
