                                                      This is what I think is going on.

                                                      They might use the helicopter to spot schools of fish by bird activity and surface water activity and relay this information down to the boats. (this is really illegal BTW)
                                                      Some of the Tuna Wranglers use this method to spot huge schools of tuna.

                                                      Here in the USA anyways. You are just allowed to use radar or your eyeballs. You can't have air assistance. You can spot the birds on radar, where there are birds their is surface bait, where there is surface bait there is game fish, so that's how you fish.

                                                      You just don't just drive around anywhere when trolling. You troll pretty fast too. Sometimes over 10 mph. You clearly see the chopper is stopped.

                                                      Anyways, what happened here these guys made a spoof video.
                                                      When you see the guy on the Marlin, that Marlin had been on the end of a fishing line for a few hours and was probably on the verge of death. The guy jumped from the boat while they released it and the underwater camera guys were ready.

                                                      They then spliced this in after they show the guy diving out of the chopper.

                                                      There is no way you can jump dive out a chopper and grab a marlin like that.

                                                              Thank you for solving the mystery. At first I thought the cameraman used magic to find the right location and that really scared me a lot because I don't want anyone to cast spells on me. But now, thanks to you I know better.
