    The SPAM is fucking outrageous!

    I haven't registered a new domain in years, I just renew the ones I own. I recently registered a new domain and HOLY SHIT. I get at least 20 emails a day advertising everything from web design to SEO. And the PHONE CALLS! Mainly out of California, at least 2-3 a day. WTF?!?

                          The problem with whois guard is if your register goes bust, there is no way (at the least it is way harder) to prove your domains are yours. Better to register a business and put the whois information as your businesses details, if you want some anonymity.
