    The one cool thing about the open registration is I met quite a few newbies attending their first show and I even spent some party time answering questions because this party wasn't just to thank our existing webmasters, but also a way of showing some new webmasters a good time. The positives far outweighed the negatives...


    Sucks that someone disrespected your hospitality like that. I agree that you have to have new webmasters at shindigs like that, though, or else why not skip the shows and stay home and chat with your existing contacts on ICQ?

            Man that sucks, shit like this ONLY happens when civilians show up. I remember some idiot in Toronto was acting like an ass at a suite party and Brad from Mojo asked him to leave and the guy threw some big fit and called the cops on the party saying there was a gun in the room.

            And one year one of the laptops from National Net's suite went missing...

            Unreal this shit goes on... You should only be able to get into these parties if you have a profile on adult who's who with a photo hehe.

                    I dont know, I see clickcash as an example. They are huge and in the 8 + yrs Ive been in the online biz. I dont remember ever seeing a rep on a board or them hosting any kind of party.And I know some people that make very serious money with them.

                                        U know, if there is an upside to this situation I avoided making a scene at the party with another douchebag who touched my girl there.

                                        Only in this case he IS in the industry.

                                        I was playing pool with J$tyles when this guy came back by the table and started playing with my girl's hair while she was text messaging and sitting in the corner next to me.

                                        In true Bruce Lee fashion, I took the pool cue and immediately stuck him in the throat and he said " Do you have a problem, I don't like pool cues in my throat"? I said "I have a problem with people touching a girl they have to right to touch"


                                        He then said " Well that's all u had to say".
                                        and we were done.

                                        I would never make a spectacle at an event like this- I WILL protect any woman who is being harassed, but I'd do it outside of the party.

                                        I am happy to say that I resolved my differences with this guy after puffing in my buddies room...but he was close to the edge- and I NEVER lose my cool
