I've seen Metallica (a local band, hehe) over a dozen times over the years, at Lollapalooza (with The Cure, Alice in Chains, The Ramones, and Devo, among others), at headline shows, and at free shows (even an all acoustic set at Neil Young's Bridge Concert), and they have always put on a great show...

Metallica is on the top of my list. It is the only band I have seen 2 days in a row. Saw them friday night in one city and had to travel the next day to see them in another:-) The only album they have done that I do not like is the St. Anger one, but Master of Puppets and The black album should both be nominated to the album of the century!

I saw them on the Black Album tour and was kinda disappointed with the show. Not that the music was bad, but just not the energy I expected .

It was FANTASTIC!! Best gig ever! ONLY old classic songs. I dont thing they played a single song from load, reload or st anger!
Two girls started fighting right in front of me, and I stepped in between them to separate them. Then one of the crazy fucks puches me in my face! Damn, my lip hurts today! lol
