What the fuck is up with that?

And all these crazy promos lately, all those sites converts like 1:2000-1:3000 for us... our CCBILL ratio is WAY lower than that

Ive heard this before that CCBill and NATS together makes lower conversion.. Never heard a real awnser tho.. We also use NATS for our livecams but we do not use CCBill.. Our conversions are up to standard .. It really seems there's something with the CCbill Nats combo

Can you shave with either CCBILL or NATS?

maybe because they are COMPLETELY different sites, and by that nature will convert differently?

Nats links starts tracking as soon as the surfer clicks the referral link, even before the page loads. Pretty sure ccbill doesn't do that. Are you tracking traffic through the links to compare actual surfer numbers for ratios, or just depending on what shows in the ccbill admin?

G'luck on the promos though, I don't bother trying them.

He's not necessarily referring to a combo - just that direct CCBill sites 'alone' convert better.

biskoppen, could have to do with click count but I don't know which programs you're referring to soooooo

Not with CCbill. There are ways to alter the nats code but it is not "transparent" IE the link code changes so they don't call it shaving.

Yeah but can't you just remove sales from an affiliate right when it appears in his account, pushing a button or something? There must be a way to do that in case there's a fuckup or something. Like a manual override.

I don't think it has to do anything with nats or ccbill. Most sites with those high PPS promos just suck. They simply suck, they lack a good paysite idea, they are boring, with no marketing.

No, there really is no such button. As a sponsor you can deactivate an affiliate but at that point none of their links will work.

That could very well be the answer... maybe we should just stick to CCBILL. CCBILL sites is much more often run by people who's sites are taken care of like a little baby where on the other hand the big NATS sites are big companies who just spits on one site after the next

biskoppen: That might have to do with it... how many sites do your ccbill sponsors you use usually have? What about the content? Is there a difference as for the exclusivity from the Nats sponsors?

I like promoting ccbill sites simply because I have them all in a nice admin to see stats, etc. without having to use a 3rd party product such as statsremote

Sending payments has nothing to do with Nats. If someone doesn't send a check/epass/wire it's the fault of the software?

are you guys comparing apples to apples? the stats may be counting or tracking differently. i know nats discourages shaving/skimming at every level, as obviously ccbill does.

also can't compare a promo day to a ccbill underpromoted site or something.

Could be that nats sites are over-saturated compared to smaller ccbill sites.

From a technical view, if there is some error affecting a certain number/type of browsers
that messes up the sign up form so the surfer can't join then that could be it and it could be a hard thing to find without trying all browsers with all pc types and even connections.

But in that case I would think a sponsor would have gotten enough emails from customers who couldn't sign up to have found that problem.

So, over saturation is more likely.

NATS sites aren't bigger than "ccbill only" sites, so I don't think thats oversaturation. Also most promos are for new sites. The sites just suck, thats it.
