Ya don't you guys remember last year? We all smoked where we pleased and then as soon it was Sunday... like clockwork... ash trays disappeared, security guards became less helpful and children became visible.
It is the same every year. The Westin LOVES us... they are not going to make it so we can't smoke on the property just inside of it.

As someone who just quit 2 months ago I have to tell you that you might not be as courteous as you think.
I'm not gonna be a preachy ex-smoker or anything....I don't care what the fuck you do really.....but I'm amazed at how many places I smell smoke now that I didn't notice before.
I went to Wal-Mart to buy groceries the other day, and over by the shopping carts there were 5 employees standing around smoking on their break. I about choked on the smoke, and there was no way to avoid it unless I just left the premises and didn't walk through the front door.
Ditto if you're sitting on a park bench and I'm pushing my kid on a swing, and your smoke is wafting over to me. It doesn't seem like an issue to you because you're voluntarily sucking this shit down like an Ethiopian with a protein shake, but it really bothers the people who don't smoke.
Maybe it won't be such a big thing for me after I've been smoke free for a year and am less worried about relapsing, but this is a big deal for me now because the last thing I need is to get a nicotine high from a thick cloud of second-hand smoke.....the withdrawal was hard enough the first time.
So anyways...just saying....walking 5 or 10 feet away or just blowing the smoke in the other direction instead of in my face....isn't really being "courteous"
