    What's your current uptime?

    Best uptime on production machine.

    I'm starting to beat personal records myself.

    226 days, 22:54

      I needed to upgrade some old Sarge boxes to Etch recently, so this is about my best:

      Code:
       14:50:23 up 275 days,  8:49,  1 user,  load average: 0.12, 0.09, 0.07
 15:51:11 up 285 days, 10:27,  1 user,  load average: 0.03, 0.02, 0.03
 15:53:46 up 285 days, 10:30,  1 user,  load average: 0.04, 0.02, 0.04
      Best I've had on record is ~540 days without a reboot - then lost power when GlobalCenter's UPS exploded. Good old days.

          Last place I was working we had a pretty old fbsd box that had almost 2 years of uptime, then a noob rebooted it by mistake... let's just say he got some shit for it.

          540 days is pretty good for a box on the net...

          Do you use debian on all your boxes GA?

                          Not all of them, but it's a good base, and I've grown to live with it. I used to be/am a BSD guy, but I don't have issues with it. I just don't maintain the 'kernel of the week' mentality that often accompanies Linux. See also: Ubuntu, Fedora, et al.

                          The 540 days was a BSD/OS 3.1 machine. I think next to that, I had nearly 480 on a FreeBSD 2.2.8 machine running Stronghold.
