Remember the times where the first half of the main GFY board was filled with nothing but 20 pages long contest threads? When the hordes of one-word post whores would invade a freshly started thread and spam the shit out of it? I noticed this hasn't been happening lately. In fact, I can't name any postwhores from the top of my head (apart from the idiots tranza and and that fat bitch Headless).
So for a while I wondered where they had all gone.
This was when being bored out of my mind I decided to check the Sell & Buy Forum.
Well, hello there!
It looks like the post whoring hype had died down and there wasn't much money to be made anymore, so all the noobs and broke teenagers found the new fad: SELLING PAGERANK HARDLINKS!
Take a look at whats for offer there: The forum is filled with dozens of no-name nicks selling 'hardlinks' on POS one-page domains, hosted on virtual servers with hundreds of thousands of sites on them. Lame PR1-PR2 pages, with beat to the death sponsor RSS feeds, no original content whatsoever and huge linkfarms on the bottom. Every noob is claiming how awesome his "hardlink package' is for SEO purposes. I even saw someone saying that all his domains are on different C-class IP - out of interest I checked it out, and you know how his C-class IPs looked like?

and so on
So they circle jerk the Pagerank back and forth on dozens of their interlinked domains. By the time the domains acquire PR1 or PR2 every site is firmly penalized in Search Engines and is pretty much worthless.
But you know what? They actually do make money selling their links, cause there is an equal amount of noobs who just got into the business and think that buying up hundreds of those hardlinks would skyrocket their sites into top 10
All in all, I find the whole thing interesting if only for the fact how the postwhores have evolved to a bit higher level.
