Yes, chances are any cobra you see on the road is a kit car... and there's nothing wrong with that. It would be irresponsible to allow an original to even touch the payment imo
I plan to buy a kit cobra if I move to the usa next year...
I had no idea how high class my great grandfather was; he also had the 'used a piece of pressboard for the dash' in one of his old farm trucks. I had no idea it was a Jon Deere Shelby!

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but can't a perfectly built Cobra replica go for close to 100K?
They can but most don't.
Depends whats put in it and on it.
Most Fabricated one or fake ones can go for 30K to 50K on average.
The originals? Yeah they can easily go over 100K. WHat gives the one above away as an original is the front with the metal protrusions thats for a bumper.
The above one looks like an original.
Mine is a kit:/
But then again the interior looks like custom. Specially the shift box.
Its prolly a Kit, but that front is something many of the originals had if I recall. Alot of the Kit guys just do not have that front metal or they have it customised in some way.
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
I tend to agree its likely a repro kit, but willing to wager it turns more heads rollin' down the pavement than the 'vette.
I had a factory five but had to sell it last year... miss it all the time! it was a fuel injected 302 and honestly every time I revved it up it sounded like a super loud Harley. I've owned quite a few cars and can honestly say nothing gets the looks and pussy quite like those cars.
Here's some other pics of it: http://networktechs.com/cars/cobra/ I did burnouts downtown NEXT to cops at lights and all I ever got were thumbs up. (obviously didn't go more than 5 over posted speed limit with them around) Its a VERY tough car to receive a blowjob in though which is probably about the only downside.
get 3:25 or taller (slower/lower) and pair it with a minimum of a 5spd SOME I've seen with 6spd trannys.... Would you believe me if I said I frequently pulled 30MPG with my 302ci that was fuel injected and hooked to a 5spd? I frequently drive a 40mi round trip which the speed limit is 55MPH and even with the occasional downshift to pass I always got high 20's on that route.
If you have the money get a BMW IRS rear and you're golden. Those ride SO much nicer than the ford 8.8's
Of course driving something like this you don't give a shit about gas mileage but I logged it for the hell of it.
Guess what you can get into them starting at only $20k! real nice ones start at 30k and go up pretty fast.
I can't fit into an orignal, being 6'3" I would need to get a replica, they made some that have more room in them than the originals
The Cobra is one of my favorite cars but like you I'm way too tall to ever fit in one. Same problem with the older Corvette. So far all the pics have been from the front so here's a rear view.
