    Shots fired in honor of Michael Brown?

    I have to say, I do not get that one bit. Front page of Yahoo! News.

    FERGUSON, Mo. (Reuters) - Shots were fired on Sunday during a march in Ferguson, Missouri, to mark the anniversary of the fatal shooting by a white police officer of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown, police said.

    It was unclear who fired the shots or the extent of any injuries, a police spokesman told reporters, but initial reports suggested they were not aimed at the marchers.

                                          Seems someone was shot and killed - is that what I just read on the news?

                                          This is silly. A black man committed a robbery, then attacked a police officer, and ended up getting shot dead. You attack an armed man there is a good chance you will up getting shot. It's not anyone's fault that Micheal Brown didn't have the common sense to see this.

                                          Now we have a police department coming under fire, and they are going to fire back.

                                          A thug committed a crime, they rioted and destroyed their own town, and now they are openly shooting at police. Outstanding.

                                              Holy shit.... CNN was interviewing the new Police Chief when shots started going off. It started off slow, four shots, and then sounded like a battlefield with dozens of shots going on. Insane that this happens in the United States.

Seems to me Michael Brown committed a crime, then attacked a police officer for no reason. From there on out it was all down hill - They were protesting because someone attacked an armed police officer and got shot to death? YOU THINK? And then they burned down the town?

                                                                                                      was just watching CNN cover the protests today. they had a black activist on. his problem was that, although the cops dressed less militantly than last years protests (full riot gear last year, only BP vests this year) the cops didnt dress down enough & still was a menacing presence to the peaceful black protesters & the cops were not sensitive to black protesters being afraid of how the cops were dressed. I mean, race relations are hopeless, totally hopeless, with black leaders like that.

But every black 'spokesman' or any who are shown on the news commenting about Ferguson invariably always lay blame elsewhere. The media doesn't help by continually including the word "unarmed" in every spot about this. I'm sorry but no guy the size of an NFL lineman who is out on a shit-disturbing self-entitled swat-anyone-who-gets-in-his-way rampage can truly be called unarmed. I'd like to have seen him tasered and taken into custody but a guy that size in that "fuck you" state of mind might have laughed it off and tore the officer's head off.
