Proof that Brad Shaw owes me $900 for May/June 2000!!!!

If you click on the link Boneprone is promoting the site that Brad ripped off from Amateur Pages as well... just wondering if he got paid?.....Did Brad have to financially compensate Lensman when he closed the site?...actually Brad had to close the site right because he ripped off Lensman....and now he is out copying OxCash....what is that saying about fucking up once is foolish doing the same thing again gets your balls cut off and served up in the Peking Moon restaurant...may have got it wrong...

Um, nope Krome, sorry. Brad owns the trademark on AmateurBeaver on the web, it's not closed. CEN got the domain and they didnt want to part with it cheaply.

Oh and on another note, boneprone and fly are unrelated. bone knows what I am joking about, it's not a big deal either.

Domain names are only important for type in traffic. We run a reseller program.

Why would my resellers want to compete with type in domain names for their money? If it's easier to remember the domain and come back to it than to click on a link again, that doesnt help the reseller.

Any similiar "_insert sponsor__ cheated me!" thread usually ends that way. The sponsor in question accuses the webmaster of cheating, OR the thread gets confused enough along the way that nothing ever comes of it anyway.

If you've been around long enough, this is just one big deja vu. The same thread.. just exchange the webmaster names or the sponsor names.

If you do a WAYBACKMACHINE search on Amateur Beaver it looks like the URL was online WAY before Amateur Beaver even opened as a click program... So my wild guess is that CEN owned the domain first for SE traffic or whatever -- then the domain was probably sold to Shaw Internet for $$$ and then the name was trademarked...

Did I get that right?

Anyway when the site was up -- it was a kick ass program... and as you can see this girl made me almost $5000 ;)

Ive posted on this before months and months ago and no one listened.

I know EXACTLY what happend and why Pete didnt get paid.
It was a misunderstading by both parties.

Im probably wasting my time posting on this again but ill do it even though i dont think anyone will read it.

During the month in question BOTH PETE and I were not paid initally. As I recall I was owed about $3500.00

I calmly wrote shaw and called them. Talked to them calmly and we TOGETHER discovered it was a huge misunderstanding. I was later paid.

Pete was not paid for the EXACT same reason I was not as I recall. It was a simple mistake and this is what happened.


At the time Shaw ran 2 click programs. A 4 cent per click text program and a 5 cent per click Picture program.. On boneprone I ran BOTH the pic and the text program.

When shaw went over my site to see if i was cheating his pic program they discovered I was sending to Amateur Beaver with text. They then assumed I was cheating the pic program and sending to the pic program via these text links in addition to the pics. When I called they told me i was canceled casue i was in violation of the terms for the click program. (they were very professional)

I asked them if they could kindly pull up my site in front of them and point out to where and what they were refering to.

We went over it, and he pointed to the text linking to his site.
They Said they saw I was sending via the pic, but also noticed i was cheating and sending to the program behind his back with text. A violation of the terms foir the pic program.

I told him i understood what he was saying. Then i told him to CLICK on the thext links. He did. I told him to look at the id number, and he did. He then realized it was a different account.
He realized that I had been pushing BOTH the Pic Program AND the Text Program! The text links in question were linking to his text linkprogram, whereas they assumed it was going to the pic program and i was cheating. They never took the time to notice the account number was a text link account number and i was running a seprate account number for the pic program.

We straignted it out, and I was paid.


Now why pete was not paid could be due to seveeral reasons.


1) His approach. I kindly emialed and called shaw in a non offensive manner and went over the site with them on the phone.
I didn not call to attack, or write to them in a pissed off manner. I figured it was a simple mistake, and the last thing you wanna do is piss off someone who thinks you are a cheater holding 3800.00 of your money. Piss em off and they wont even give you the time of day to explain yourself.

2) The sum of money at question was larger, thus desirved more attention.

3) According to the person I talked to my ratios were very good.
Which also may have bought me the chance to explain myself.


So all in all this was a simple mistake, probably by both parties.
Shaw made a mistake, but Pete may have made a mistake in his approach casuing shaw to low him off. As I recall Pete was really in a pissed off mood. I tried to calm him down before dealing with shaw, but he went into this with guns drawn. I remeber this all too well.

Anyway i thoght this was all behind us. Thought it would be fun to take Fly over to Shaws booth to eat all his pizza and take a pic of pete eating shaws pizza with Brad in the background.

Im sure shaw could settle this with pete by just sending him over a hooker. We all know he needs one! hehehe.

I've got a personal rule that I won't send ANY traffic to a sponsor unless I've met them beforehand and we know each other. This creates a level of trust on both ends and helps so there's less confusion when accidents like what happend to fly present themselves.

When I got into this biz 4 years ago, I emailed my first sponsor Maxcash the day I got my first check cashed just to say "thanks for paying, I'm new and this is really cool". That email started a great relationship that has profited us both for many years.

85% of my traffic goes to Maxcash, always has, always will. So when I go to shows, other than MC no one really knows who I am or what I make. But you know what, I don't care. I'll walk up to ANY sponsors and say hi and be cool with them. And I "expect" them to talk back and treat me as if I'm there BIGGEST affiliate. Well the ones that are really cool and down to earth will get a bit of my 15% play around traffic. The ones that act like big shots and are snub loose out. So far most people I've met are very cool. I guess it does help when you're walking around with important people too, lol

Fly while at the Show you really should have went up to "someone" from Shaw Internet and mentioned your past problem. If anything just to see what kind of reaction you get. Do they come off sincere or snub you? Cause u know darn well when u were there u had your problem in the back of your mind :-)))) cause u NEVER forget when a sponsor doesn't pay, lol :-)

I had small problem with Lensmans program a while back. I didn't get paid, but it was a misunderstanding on MY part where I unintentionally broke there rules (sent them too much foreign traffic from my freehost headers). I wasn't really aware of there foreign traffic policy at the time. It's a free host after all so I wasn't exactly redirecing incoming traffic and cheating my members. Well I didn't get paid for a few months and found out that I was cancelled for "cheating". I didn't dispute it or argue. I knew I broke there TOS. Oh well...mistakes happen.

But guess what.. When I was in Florida I met Ram at a party. I was really cool with him and I did bring up this story. Basically just to get his reaction and to clear my name, since after all it was some unintetional petty thing anyways. Well he came off really cool and wanted to even rectify this. I was like don't even worry about it cuase it was a while ago and I really didn't care, especially since I was in the wrong anyways. Point was I still brought it up.

Well I'm rambling away, lol. Point is if u do this full time, go to as many shows as you can and meet your sponsors. Your bottom line will enjoy it :-)

Ok Boneprone you can have your opinion -- but remember you never heard any of the phone conversations -- or lack thereof... I must have called Shaw Internet at least 12 times -- and every time I asked to speak with Brad -- he was always in a meeting or supposed to call me back or he was moving his boats or some other nonsense. I was only able to speak with Tonda and while she was very friendly -- she never had useful information.

I was calm. There was never even a disagreement. In fact Tonda told me twice that my check was in the mail so I was happy waiting for at least a month... when the check never arrived I started calling again and again -- I finally get to talk to Brad and he tells me that I wasn't converting. What am I going to do -- call him a liar? Maybe if I called 12 more times I could have got them to show me the illegal link text on my site -- then demand $.04/click... Anyhow I KNOW I was being cheated -- I'm not stupid -- there was NO MISUNDERSTANDING. Seriously why would Boneprone and myself get canceled WITHOUT NOTICE at the SAME TIME? Why was I told my check was in the mail for almost a month when I was already canceled? BECAUSE THEY WANTED MORE FREE TRAFFIC! WHY DID THEY DROP CALVIN a month later? Why did it take me until July 27 to get paid for May? WHY WAS AMATEUR BEAVER SHUT DOWN shortly after this incident? It all stinks bad. THIS WAS NO MISUNDERSTANDING. I'm not going to play games with somebody who cheated me. I accepted the loss and let Brad Shaw live to reget it. Don't cast your pearls before swine -- fool me twice, shame on me -- those are words I live by.

Yes -- since that incident with Amateur Beaver -- that is my rule also. I saw the same thing to other webmasters -- and now I am lucky to have friends that I trust with traffic. BUT -- sometimes this is not an option. Are you going to miss out on the latest hot converting site just because you haven't established a personal relationship with the owner?

Ox didnt create the first reality site, and it definitely won't be the last. I like your SNYCASH story! Aren't the shows fun, lol. I've been to almost every show for the past 2 1/2 - 3 years.

I always feel bad when I get back though. You end up meeting soooo many people and make sooo many business contacts that you'd like to return the coolness and send them a shit load of sales. Well unless you have millions of hits a day there's no way to return EVERYONE you like decent traffic/sales, lol.
