I'd say around that too, aiming for around 40-45 should be doable once he gets into it.

If you only have the one blog I wouldn't be updating it more then 5-6 times a day, have him do link trades and spend some time on internal advertising as well it isn't just about updating your blog 100 times a day...

I don't understand the issue on paying other to write Blog posts... and here is the reasoning... each Blog post is often very short and very vague and overall does not offer much to the reader... I understand the reason for fresh content for indexing, however, I can't see the benefits over weighing the cost and effort.

Anyone can give their opinion and write a couple hundred words, however, it does not mean that they are competent writers.

A professional writer would charge per word approx $1.00 for research papers and technical materials.

How many people could write just from memory 5 - 10 articles per day without taking the time to do proper research into their articles... the time to research and to write is the justification for $ 1.00 per word rates plus the articles still remain the property of the writer unless they sell you the exclusive rights, even though you hire them to write for you.

I would not write for anything less then $ 0.30 per word and such would only touch lightly on the very surface of subjects...
