I think Hooper is a piece of shit. (just thought I would get that out of the way)

However, I understand and agree with his decision to require identification for his affiliates for many different reasons. Beyond everything else - it's his company and his perrogative. Nobody has to agree with him but everyone ought to at least respect that if they're rational.

i sent in my ID with everything blocked except my name+address. that's the same info they send my checks to, so i'm not worried about identity theft nor about privacy concerns.
just two things i would recommend: email existing affiliates to let them know of the policy, because i didn't even know about it and had payments on hold. i promote 50+ sponsors so its hard to keep track of what im owed and from whom. second, i'd state that you could block out personal info on the ID if you want.

What I find ridiculous about this is that for someone such as myself. ie small affiliate from another country. A passporte does NOT contain my address. It has my name but NO address information on it. How is that type of ID going to confirm a thing? Are you willing to send me your passporte(scan of)?

Also, why has no one asked how a program can get away with doing this? I have made minimal sales with quickbuck and because of this, the money from sales will never been seen. How is this not a form of stealing?

i can't see how they can apply this rule retrospectively, if you've earnt money before this rule came into place. they've got to pay you or else they're as bad as the scammers they're trying to avoid themselves.
