Anders Behring Breivik accepted to Oslo University?

    Uh... interesting choice.

Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik won a place on Friday to study at Oslo University from solitary confinement in prison, despite outrage at his massacre of 77 people four years ago.

"He meets the admission requirements. We stick to our rules and he will be admitted," Oslo University rector Ole Petter Ottersen told Reuters, saying prisoners are eligible to study as long as their academic grades are good enough.

That's the welfare state of our dreams.
-I can't quantify my hatred of the State. Preferences are ordinal.

-The absolute ruler may be a Nero, but he is sometimes Titus or Marcus Aurelius; the people is often Nero, and never Marcus Aurelius.

i wonder if the individual instructors teaching the courses can and will object? seems if he has a right to participate, then they have a right to not participate. i can see an instructor getting pretty upset having to teach to, communicate with, then review and grade that spree shooter's assignments.

Imagine if he had a joint assignment with a friend of one of those killed.

i can see something along these lines easily happening. as small as norway is and as big as oslo u is, combined with the sort of kids at that island retreat (academic minded), friends of any of those families could easily be affiliated in some way with oslo u.

i can't see this actually happening, now that i think about it. forcing others to share their time, energy, resources, strength, and all that with this guy because the entrance requirements don't specifically address spree shooters? i hope it's not supposed to work that way.
