The flag had no reason to be there. It was put there in the 1960's by racists Democrats in South Carolina govt. as a way to protest the Federal Govt. Civil Rights actions.
Having said that...this wasn't even a blip on the radar screen a couple of weeks ago.
But I guess people feel better about themselves now.

Having lived in South Carolina from 1993 to 2007...I only hope that this doesn't get some of the other crazy fucks there to do something bad in reprisal.
The flag should have been a separate issue from that mass murder. But now they have tied them together. My fear is that it's going to happen again because now any of the racist crazies that may be around that area are pissed off.
