                          Mid 80's here. Beautiful day.

                          Wrapped up early and took a swim. The pool is heated to 87 and is perfect.

                              Just had a week of almost blistering heat here in the San Fernando Valley (90-100F), but now it's cooling down to a mild high 70's and low 80's.

                                  100.... isn't "blistering". Maybe by your standards. It was 106 here in Sacramento the other day and I still wouldn't call that "blistering" although it was annoying. It was 100 here yesterday but only for a few hours; It was nice.

                                  I guess after living in Phoenix for six or seven years it changes your perception of "blistering" or even "hot".
