I nearly got my hand blown off by a smoke bomb that malfunctioned.
I ALWAYS held smoke bombs, but I decided to set that one down for some reason. Then BOOM! It was just like an M80 going off.

well last year we went on for over 1 hr before they showed up.... we didnt realize they were there even cause the streets were blocked off cause of all the cars and the cops had to park wayy down the street we didnt realize they were there till we saw the badges
We take precautions , we had rain on n off today so evrything had some mositness onit and we wet down anything that we thought potentially was a hazard...
We have 5 people setting em off at same time all spread apart.... they light and head back fast , i bought those special safety glasses the plastics one also

drop a tiny firecracker down (no need for a big m80)
the sound of a firecracker dropped into a sewer for example.....is amazing

A lot of cities have ordnance's but in most cases as long as it's not extremely dry out from no rain, the cops ignore it on the 4th. There are Firework stores all over, it's a funny catch 22. They are aloud to sell them but you aren't supposed to use them. In some places you actually have to sign a paper stating you wont use them.
