    Has anyone watched Mr. Robot?

    Mr. Robot seems like a very good show from the pilot that deals with some very heavy and dark subjects. It does seem like Fight Club with a few other things thrown in, but if they can keep up with the writing and direction of the pilot it'll be great.

              Cool pilot. One minor glitch - why was he so sure that yankees and dog name should give password? Why not basketball team? Why not persons name? It is not like baseball team and dog name accounts for majority of passwords..

                  I'll watch the next episode.

                  I don't think the director needs to be 100% accurate on the tedium of hacking to make the show enjoyable. That would be boring for 99% of the audience.

                      Maybe, but I think even the regular person knows that baseball team + dog name does not account for that many passwords so that you could be surprised if those did not pan out.
                      Of course, maybe it is just me who cares about "not important" things like this

                          You make a great point - this show can really fly if real geeks buy in. Maybe they should have presented a stylish-looking brute force dictionary attack, with green on black Courier New cycling through tons of ideas.
