I don't know. I think if the people who oppose the confederate flag are able to ban it, despite the people who like it.... then in fairness, the people who like the flag should be able to ban something that people who oppose the flag like. Otherwise, don't expect them to be complacent with something you yourself would not be complacent with. Its only fair.

actually that flag was placed over the capitol in 1961 by a DEMOCRATIC governor as a slap in the face to integration... I have respect for the battle flag, however it's difficult to respect anything that a creepy politician does... let the flag be put away with all due honor

the flag is an inanimate object... the flag doesn't say anything... minorities have objectified the flag, and that included the small number of white dissidents and the large number of minorities
