    A suggestion for those who use Nats system

    I notice that many modern Nats sites that have banners ask you to save them.

    For ease I have found those sites that simply give you a code much easer. For instance posting on blogs where it becomes a pain to save then upload to my blog.

    I wonder if I am the only one that feels this.

          and second maybe they dont want you hogging the BW ,,,,, its not hard to host the banner yourself u taint.

              why anyone would hotlink a banner rather than be in full control of it with regards to both uptime, and making sure it doesn't change, is beyond me.

              As for the 'pain' of taking 1 minute to do some work.. well.. I swear I've been living in a bubble the last 12 years where I thought webmasters were actually webmasters. Lately I've been seeing that bubble burst time and again.

                  Not only that, but there's always a thread now and then whining about adblockers. If there's one surefire way to have your banners blocked, it's hosting them at 3rd party servers, or loading them inside iframes, versus simply saving them to a central location you control, in a folder name that you control, and a filename that you also control. And, of course, loading them from a server you control.
