Some form of ultimate intelligence, binding force, natural phenomenon we can't comprehend? Far more likely, and a concept I'm at ease with. Placebos work even when you know they are placebos, and if someone's life, and/or mental state is the better for it (religion), without interfering with mine, who am I to take that away from them. |
This is how I have felt for a long time. I don't know if there is or there isn't a God. I like to refer to myself as a "whatever gets you through the day" person. If having religion and practicing a religion gives a person a better, more fulfilled life, so be it. And likewise for those who have none.
