My "I" key broke off my laptop, how the fuck do you fix that?

How fucking annoying, it's a fucking vowel too, so I need it like 10 times in every sentence. Now I have to hit this rubber nub for every fucking "I".... Can this fucker be super glued?
It's a HP notebook, your help would be appreciated.

I had one fall off of my laptop and ultimately a friend of mine who is a tech put it back on for me. I watched him do it and it turned out the only reason I hadn't been able to do it myself was that I was afraid of pushing too hard and breaking it. He gave it some very firm pressure, and click... good as new.

holy crap I'm missing like 5 letters on mine .. I spilled wine on them and thought I could just take them off .. I have a cordless keyboard on top of my laptop lol .. I could not get those fucking things back on !!! I got the laptop for free from EB.. I just need to fix it

If it happens again ask Kourosh how to fix it, he took apart my laptop last week, every key was off the keyboard, some how he put it all back together and its works great now!

i broke a key off my dell laptop. i glued a tiny rubber washer on the back then glued that to that rubber nub on the keyboard. kinda worked, but was never the same.

i think its pretty pricey to replace tho

Had same shit happenin to my laptop but that was an "M" and it done my head in big time so I just got a new pc maybe aint that sensible but worked for me

That's one of the nice thigns about the DELL I have. The keyboard can be easily popped off, and replaced.

Same thing happened to mine but a cat ate off the the #2 and the letter r. I still have not tried to take it in to get fixed but I hear that you can take it to best buy for repairs! I think I might be screwed...I did not want to go thru the cat box to get them back. good luck with yours!
