Samsung patent.. (why did it take so long to think of this?)

    Samsung details a dual-OS phone-docking hybrid device

Now that's a damn good idea.. The only thing that would make it better, is if it also flipped open backwards so you could use it like a tablet with a touch screen..

I wonder what the dual boot OS will be.. I wonder if they would be able to run windows 10 on their smart phones like the article says.

Motorola introduced a similar concept back in 2011 with the Atrix.

Did you ever notice: When you put the 2 words 'The' and 'IRS' together it spells 'Theirs.'

      you missed Motorola ATRIX .

ref: Amazon.com: AT&T Laptop Dock for Motorola ATRIX 4G - Retail Packaging: Cell Phones & Accessories

after all , samsung guys can improve design / usability by using phone's display as trackpad when inserted it in dock..

        That's cool for non-Apple users.

For me, it'd be no different than carrying my MacBook Air, which is already synced with my iPhone.

MBA would probably be thinner and lighter, too.

would be even better if it was wireless. You've got the phone in your pocket, launch your tablet/computer & voilà!

That's not the same thing.. You have to pay a grand for your MBA and another 700 for your iphone..

This takes a normal cell and turns it into a netbook/laptop with dual boot capability. It certainly isn't gonna cost close to 2 grand like the over priced Apple crap. It likely has more computing power as well lol.

Interesting.. I wonder how Samsung got a patent if something like that had already been made? Was the Atrix running off the cellphone? as it just a keyboard & monitor system?

Apple can surely tell you how Samsung does it.

Atrix is a cellphone that serves as a CPU for the LapDock (monitor and keyboard).

Apple drone talking about the brand like it's the 8th wonder of the world.

Newsflash: Any phone can sync with a laptop.
