Well depend what you target.It's not same when you have seo traffic for selling houses or sauseges.Personaly i start to dropping my mainstream project beacuse adult even it this shitty tube situation still works better,and many mainstream sponsors support only wire or check for payment which sucks in somany way.

there is no money left anywhere, all gone

build up a site on some topic, get a ton of organic/free then sell advertising on it

i have a number of mainstream projects that I am trying to develop and work on, but almost everyone i speak to wants their hands in the pot so its a bit harder to get off the ground than i thought

Word mainstream can mean many things.But for adult webmaster means sites which doesnt contain porn content.

If we had the exact answer we'd keep it quiet ;)... but as long as you have basic business skills you can sell just about anything. What makes the most money might be different for someone else, it depends what area of the mainstream business you are most interested in and what you are good at selling.

You can do PPC, SEO, lead generation, adsense,membership sites,community sites,direct ad sales...
There are many big affiliate networks like commision junction, neverblue ads, copeac..

So basically, yes there is a LOT of money in mainstream.

Yeah I'd say a way larger chunk of the internet is non-porn... Basically anything you can think of in life can be put on the internet and monetized. Make a site with content that someone would want to view, and advertise to them.
