Bad News About A Colleague

This morning I got a phone call about someone.
Some of you old timers may remember him. He is the original "JC" Jeffery Croucher. Not JC of OC Cash. But the JC who took the gallery submissions for AL4A.com for years until it was sold to Pierre.
We used to bring him to all the shows with us when we were promoting Pure Candy Images and Strictly Hosting back in the day.
He still works for me with Solo Slut Cash and also still does work for Al as well on Chubbyland
Anyway, his daughter called me this morning with the news that he had suffered a heart attack this morning (in front of his computer working his ass off as usual)
He is in critical condition but CAT scans have revealed that his brain is functioning fine...so that is a relief.
I'm hoping that he will be able to pull through this and get back to work soon and regain his health...which is going to require that he put down cigarettes once and for all and start an excercise regimen. Of course I'm getting ahead of myself, since at the moment I'm just pulling for him to stay alive.
Al and myself are going to continue to pay his respective salaries while he is down and out and also put in matching funds to help to keep his power on and his mortgage paid until he can get back on his feet.
Jeffery is a helluva guy and all of you who were around 7 or 8 years ago and met him at the internext shows and the New Orleans show can attest to that.

man reading this really makes me re-think the way i am living my life....with the lack of exercise & the 6-7 ciggs i smoke a day now (at least i cut down)

this kind of thing should be kicking a lot of us in the ass to show us what could happen just sitting in front of the computer typing a letter to a friend

wow.....man i hope JC gets better, i never met him/or talked to him.....but if you send me an icq with his paypal info I'd be more than happy to send over a few bucks

Getting rid of the cigs is the best you can do, oh and excerise is ok, but walking is better.

Sad news.

I think we all need exercise. A vast majority of the webmasters on this board spend the vast majority of their time online/working on the computer.

I, myself, have been walking Zango (our puppy) daily, around the neighborhood - that was until it started getting really hot the last few weeks.

PS - I quit smoking (cigarettes) about 6 months ago and can breath much better, especially when I wake up in the afternoon.

we are walking now. about 3 to 4 miles, not really sure. But it helps us a lot. Also watching what we eat.
