    I need a logo done

Need a mainstream logo done. Will be used for site work and offline usage.

Not sure if I should shop around to assorted designers and hope whoever I hire hits it or if I should just do a contest with a cash value for best design.

Logo needs to stress high end, luxury, elite, class, brand appeal. Think perfume, designer clothes or shoes, perhaps watches and such.

    Any ideas?

Thanks jamesk, not bad pricing, pretty good portfolio. May be willing to give him a shot to see if he can get it how i want (which I do not really know)

I have used DesignOutpost a few times for mainstream stuff. You post some ideas and what you're looking for, put the funds into their "escrow" service and then their designers work on the logo. Make your pick, the designer finalizes, you ok and they get paid.

Has worked PERFECTLY every time, for me at least.

I like that idea to candyflip.

Kind of more like how the offline world does it where companies come in an give you a pitch and show their ideas.

It's mostly work at home moms too. Any little changes I've ever wanted made, were made. And each time the logo came out BETTER than I had expected...usually paying much less than some of the hacks here would charge and I never had to chase anyone down to get the work done.
