I know you and I know you work. You and I have even knocked a few cold ones back in our time, but here's the reality... it's a sad reality, but a reality none the less.
People of this board actually think the more you post, the more you MUST know, the more I'll believe everything you say.
They'll all dispute me, but they know it's true.
For some people it's true, Juicy has a million posts and I pretty much believe every bit of filth that schlops out of his filthy sewer. I'm hypocritical like that.
But to be honest I didn't think you actually cared what these people thought. Your work stands for itself. If you know your craft well, (and you do) then who cares what people think of your post count.

Redshoe is correct, some people think you have more e-rep when you have more posts...
Most of the best(quality, information, technical) posts I've seen on this forum have come from people who don't post that often... of course there's always the other 20% who posts pretty often and are in the same category, but it's not true for the other 80% of the big posters.
So yeah, the post number really means nothing(besides that you spend a lot of time on an internet forum).

i just shake my head when i see people with outrageous amounts of posts. i couldn't fathom devoting that much of my life to an internet forum. They aren't in the adult business, they are in the post-count business. to each his own i guess. I know there are some people that couldnt fathom seeing the amount of porn i have

they think it's like a title or pride thing that they have big post counts.
i say just post when you think something is relevant and like to discuss the topic or have something interesting to start a new post.

seriously it's just a number and means some people spend a lot of time on here,In my case I've been here 6 years and am here everyday so of course my numbers go up obviously I'm paid for my sig and obligated to get it seen.It's always been a entertainment source after a hard days work
