                                                                  As long as it's not any of that AXE/TAG nasty ass shit, I like a lot of cologne. Seriously, ignore the advertising campaign - AXE smells like prepackaged BO, and I don't know any girls who actually enjoy it.

                                                                  My current favorite colognes are Versace Man Eau Fraiche (worst bottle design ever, but it smells amazing), and Ralph Lauren Polo Explorer.

                                                                  I loved John Varvatos until a crazy ex started wearing it, and so now I associate it with him. But objectively, it's great.

                                                                  Woody/citrus is my current thing.

                                                                  I'm kind of obsessed with perfumes/colognes/etc, though. I even read books on the chemistry of perfumes and whatnot.

                                                                                      Hard to say to wear this cologne that cologne since some colognes just don't work with some people. It either ends up dissipating a couple of hours after you put it on or worse, it smells like you're carrying an open bottle around your neck (as it doesn't blend with your natural smell).

                                                                                      I'd recommend going to a department store and smelling a bunch of them narrow it down to one or two and them wearing one for a couple of hours. If it still smells good to you or to your better half after that, buy it.
