                      I only have two houses and I forget to pay my taxes on one of them occasionally. If I had 7 I am sure I would forget more often.

                                      Not going to bother to read the news article since I see its huffingtons which does mean slanted (please note I am not a McCain supporter) I just like less slanted news.

                                      Is this only property tax?
                                      If so who gives a shit really. With that crap if you do not pay they rape you some each quarter in penalties. They just keep doing so until it reaches a certain point where the county can/may auction off the property tax lien. Only effects his county/city and they always get their money and then some if you do not pay. Plus they fuck with your credit report if you do not.

                                      Really do not see no big political scandal here, just more BS. Ya he should have an accountant handling this shit and I do know they send you more notices than you can shake a stick at. Though I see major corps all the time on the property tax printed statements in the paper before stuff goes up to auction.

                                          Huffington post is a site mainly carrying article from different sources... They cherry pick articles but those they pick arent necessarily from slanted sources... This one is from Newsweek..

                                              Now did they cover that McCain and one other person did not vote on a fairly important medicare competitive bidding bill. Bill was short 2 more votes. Now no way to know which way he could of voted but well it has pissed of some seniors. One of my grandparents had me look it up after they were called by their health care supplier in regards to it.

                                                  I see it a little different than you. If it was you, I could give a flying fuck, but he is running for President.

                                                  I kinda like to think that the President should be able to keep his books, seeing as he is going to be running the biggest economy on the planet. Call me silly, but I just think the pres should be able to run his personal finances before we give him the keys to the white house.

                                                      I would like to think that as well however I know that would often never be the case. I just am more annoyed that he did not hire the right person to keep track of it, more than I am that he forgot. That also is more important to me than him personally knowing himself. I am fairly sure I do not want more people that think they know everything themselves anymore.

                                                              I agree with you that it isn't that big a deal, but says volumes about the people he surrounds himself with. We can see how well that works with the current pres.

                                                                              It is a condo in the name of a trust that's run by Cindy McCain. It doesn't have anything to do with John McCain. Considering it's bill was only $6,744.42 and Cindy McCain is worth about $100 million, I'm thinking it was a small oversite that really isn't even a news story. If it was one of the homes that John McCain actually lived in it might be worth a story but not this in my opinion.

                                                                                  SD County charges 1.5% per month late fee. 18% per year. They are happy 3% of tax payers pay late although I am sure they would like homes to be sold for taxes prior to 5 years of default on the properties taxes.

                                                                                  Good use of the word McCain in the title which I guess is true as it is a condo owned by a trust that Mrs. McCain oversees.
