I'm completely the other way in that I was die hard Android and eventually gave it up in frustration. The biggest issue for me was the lack of support and updates for Android phones. I think the LG G3 I was using last summer has still not received Lollipop.
I also found out that none of the Android tablets (including my new Galaxy Tab S) would play Netflix at 1080p. The only one that would was the Nexus 7. All of my iPads will play 1080p with no issue. Despite all of the incredible specs on the Android stuff they all had some sort of usability flaw.
