    HDTV I need help

    ok so if I buy a 24" monitor with 1920 x 1200 resolution I should have a 1080P capable screen?

I want this mainly for watching films from PC but would like to be able to plug a Ps3 in at some point and play grand turismo, what do I need for that HDMI or something?

    help!

the better idea is to buy a 46 inch or better HDTV that is 1080P and use it as your monitor, add a wireless keyboard and mouse and you gotta sweet thing

watching HDTV on a 24 inch screen makes about as much sense as watching a football game through binoculars...turned the wrong way

If you have to choose between massive TV and use it as monitor and massive monitor and use it as TV, go for the latter ;)

SPECIALLY If you need them for video or photo editing or designing and stuff like that

Not necessarily, which monitor model are you looking to get?

Yea, ideally HDMI is the way to go for PS3, but most 24 inchers only have component inputs, which also works nicely but won't do 1080p.

it's ok for surfing around on youtube and showing people shit

                  but not too work on,

maybe a 1080i 32" might be about as big,

if its too big, imagine being at the movieheatre and it being your screen, just doesent work out like you think it will

i have a 24" samsung, i wish it was a little bigger like 28" but same res, text is too small for me
