    Paid for Def Lep, REO & Styx triple bill - got Billy Idol instead, lol

    Back in January the wife and I bought tix to see Def Leppard, Styx & REO Stationwagon as a triple bill in Hamilton, Ont.

    The Canadian leg of the tour was nixed due to Def Lep's lead singer came down with a throat infection.

    No problem - it was promised by TicketMaster to be re-scheduled later in the summer.

    So we hang on to said tickets and waited.

    Now we learn the re-scheduled concert (this Aug.) only has Leppard and Billy Idol (wheeeee!).

    No refunds on tix available.

    Yay.

          Yeah, I've heard they got Larry Gowan fronting the band these days. Was kinda' interested in seeing how they sounded. And REO still has the pipes apparently.

          Fuck, last I heard of Billy Idol...he couldn't sing worth shit.

          I ain't got high expectations for the show, that's fer sure.
