    What is the most you paid for a domain?

    I noticed throughout the years that many domains have been sold on GFY.com, so i was wondering what is the most you paid for a domain name?

    I just bought a domain for 4k, which is the most i've paid so far, but i REALLY wanted the domain

                      I'm not big on spending money on domain names, a name is only a small piece of the brand and can be compensated for in other ways if you don't have the perfect domain name. I've never paid more then registrar pricing (Which mind you used to be $70 back in the day).

I do remember losing my domain somehow because of GoDaddy and now a couple of years later BuyDomains is selling it for $2.500+. That was one of my favorite projects... fuckers.
