There are about 5 million Jews in the US today, had there been no WWII there would have been about 25 million (in today's numbers, assuming migration from Europe etc) and there would have been so much competition in business that many of them would not be able to afford to drive expensive cars. They buy German luxury cars to show their gratitude to the Germans for eliminating their competition.

How many German luxury cars have you owned? Lexus is in that gap between those I mentioned and not quite to the upper levels of luxury cars. Sure they compare nicely to the low end BMW's but Lexus just doesn't have anything even close to high end where you get all that luxury AND a respectable engine.
Toss price out the window.... sedans the Lexus LS then compare it to Mercedes S600 or a BMW 760 now you get the picture.... Lexus only competes on the lower end of luxury vehicles. I like them but I personally drive a civic hybrid during the week and a '68 Mustang on weekends. My personal tastes are more towards the classic cars when it comes to enjoying driving. Giving the finger to big oil is more important to me than a luxury interior.
My grandfather on 1 side buys all cadillacs and one on the other side only buys mercedes and I've bought some of his mercedes when he's done with them and they're just unbelievable machines.
My next new vehicle will likely be a VW as soon as they bring the diesel hybrids out. I saw somewhere the golf/rabbit diesel hybrids getting 100MPG (simple since so many get 50MPG out of the normal TDI's-- QUOTE ME IT MAKES ME FEEL SPECIAL --Comment

I've owned quite a few mustangs and am currently looking for a fox and plan on shooting for 10 second 1/4 times BUT for daily drivers they don't offer anything even close to what I'm looking for.
My first new car was a focus and I've bought a couple of brand new dodges (lemon lawed an 06 Charger R/T) and had a QC hemi Ram 1500 that I lost in a divorce.
Detroit simply isn't making anything respectable outside of trucks and sports cars. Sure GM has a few decent family cars getting 30MPG but thats just not enough. They don't offer anything that'll get even close to 40MPG and are completely clueless on hybrids (GM Yukon anybody?) The Escape/Mariner hybrids are decent but just not interested in them yet, I'll wait a while for them to prove their shit over time and maybe get a second generation BUT even then I'm still leaning more towards a non hybrid Highlander with an extra row of seats if I can get the right price on it.

There just isn't enough reason to buy american cars right now for daily driver/family duties. When kid #3 comes along I'll likely buy a midsized SUV used with 30-50k miles on it and only drive it when we absolutely have to. Jews generally don't over indulge all the much so they want quality and a decent price so yeah the Lexus would fit them perfectly... those high end German luxury cars are badass but a serious waste of cash. Shit anything over $40k is hard to justify.
I'd rather not sink too much money into a daily driver because those just get smashed up, scratched whatever... You simply can't go to walmart and not get dinged up. I've had people back up and hit my PARKED car there PULLING in too, they just don't know how to park for some reason. Dude antisemitism is not a German invention. Jews have always faced antipathy ever since the ancient world. (Most of) The people living in Germany today have absolutely nothing to do with Nazis from 1933 and companies like BMW, Mercedes are global players employing all kind of races, religions etc.
Do you really think it would make a difference to the German economy if Jews didn't buy German cars? I bet many Jews own stocks in German companies.
