    what would you do?

    So alright, hypothetically if you had someone you really liked, living in say.. Spain.
    And you were from, Denmark. You had both agreed on meeting in Amsterdam for the weekend, and Its a very long time since you last saw him/her.
    But, because of unforeseen circumstances he/she couldn't come after all.
    So you offer to go to Spain instead of meeting up in Amsterdam(the other option being going to Amsterdam alone). The other person responds by saying "No, its too soon too meet up where i live, I'm not ready etc."

    Would you do as they tell you and have a shitty weekend in Amsterdam alone or would you go to Spain and see what happens?

    I'm Personally leaning towards going anyway.. but input would be nice.

                                      Well Lets assume that isn't the case, Yes were paranoid webmasters but not everyone is trying to screw you, however i can see how it would be safe to assume they are.

                                      But for the sake of the argument, lets assume the person in question isn't doing that.
                                      Would you go to Spain or Amsterdam, knowing what you know.

                                          Because may he/she thinks it's impossible to make things work sense your so far apart! But honestly I would go to (spain) tell them where you'll be and hope that they show! If not then you know! Plus you can have fun there and meet someone else maybe! Remember everything happens for a reason, maybe this trip will take you to a new place in life!

                                              Who's to say your weekend in Amsterdam would be all that bad if you went on your adventure alone?...Sounds like it would be the wiser of the two choices...It's probably not a good idea to drop in on someone who sounds so apprehensive... Hope all goes well for you, whatever it is you decide to do!

                                                  Right that's more or less what i was thinking, and I'm thinking it might resolve things you know, because being who i am, I'm naturally suspicious of anything that seems too good to be true, and it honestly does. So I'm thinking like "grab the bull by the horns" and whatnot.
                                                  Worst case scenario, ill be drunk in Spain for a full week(and somewhat depressed but its not like it wont pass.)

                                                  So the benefits outweigh the possible negative effects. I mean sure if its like some of you have said, that he\she has a significant other in their lives. Then I'd be fine with that.. apparently my assessment of this particular person was completely off and I'd be better off in the first place. However due to things i haven't mentioned here to keep the posts fairly short, i doubt that is the case.

                                                                                      A) i cant stay home for reasons i wont disclose here.
                                                                                      B) i cant go to Amsterdam because ill be thinking about what ill be missing out on all the time.

                                                                                      which leaves going there and seeing what happens. That is if i can actually get a ticket to anywhere near there, considering I'm going tomorrow.

                                                                                                                  Or..you could go to Spain and they are happy you were persistent b/c they just had cold feet. Now that they see you, all is good and you live happily ever after.

                                                                                                                                                  right, now for the plan, I'm going to Amsterdam since its not 100% that she isn't coming there (due to perfectly logical reasons.) however, if she doesn't show up there i might get my ass on another plane.
