Appears as if there is in fact a Sony Asia.
Just sayin'.

Obviously there is a Sony Asia. I thought people were joking when they said there was not one. All the major corporations that are in Asia have a specific devision for that part of the world as their needs and consumer habits are different. Not to mention it is far to fly there from NA or Europe so it makes little financial sense to run it from this side of the world. No dog in this fight....BUT

Hi BD,
I can say for a fact that branding does NOT bring instant results. In fact, I do not recommend branding to any small company.
We have tried simple branding over the years. "Just throw your name up there, and customers will pound down your door". This definately does NOT work.
Repeated exposure can bring your name to the tips of peoples toungues sometimes, but it is very expensive to do, it helps very little when actually trying to make a sale.
The yacht party we threw at Internext back in 2006 helped get our name out there, but it definately did not result in any immediate new sales. The sales came as much as 6 or 7 months later. A very long time to wait for an ROI for any company.
I think small companies do much better meeting people one-on-one at trade shows than spending thousands that they may not have on simple branding.

While I agree that branding does not bring instant results, I will disagree on whether or not it is valuable to concentrate your efforts that way.Hi BD,

Investing $10k branding can pay off, but I think it is safe to say that $10k on a yacht party is not going to give you the same exposure you would get if you spent $10k in a manner that hit a wider audience.
Examples like yours are a perfect example of why the T3Report is a much better investment than a party will ever be.Comment

The best branding I can recall your company doing was about three years ago when one of your employees with an alcohol problem was so wasted at Internext that he didn't realize that others were pouring ketchup and mustard all over his head. I haven't forgotten about your company since and I don't think that branding cost you a dime."WTF, on google you can find the answer to every question in human history, EXCEPT how to convert cams..
Its crazy..."
