Gas chamber, hands down. Read the California federal court decision holding the gas chamber to be unconstitutional as cruel and unusual punishment. It recounts the agony in technicolor. Some of the prisoners even manage to break their own arms while they are strapped in. The Arizona warden did one in the early nineties and said that he'd resign if he were ordered to go through it again. I've had a client in the office who was a former prison guard from a Southern state and who participated in several executions. Not a squeamish guy at all. He looked at what happened in the gas chamber the first time he was required to assist. He never watched it again. He told me that no one ever looks at it a second time. They turn their backs.

I think it would be awful to be buried in a coffin while still alive.. The coffin is gradually filling with water...
Unfortunately the water is not rising fast enough to put out the flames that are slowly burning my body. I was tortured before being placed in this cofffin and the person that did this to me did a good job of ensuring that I burn slowly and painfully.

The coffin was also filled with rats, snakes, spiders and flies that will bite and eat your flesh and burrow deeper for safety and survival.

We just got told our yearly water rates are jumping from $500/yr to $736/yr. Why? Because our city's watermains are 100 yrs. old and they lose more than 60% through leakage throughout the system.

Many of us are () this close to literally being taxed to death. And to think we're classified as middle-class, middle-income wage earners in our area.

Junko Furuta was a 17-year-old Japanese teenager was kidnapped by a group of young men. They kept her captive in the house owned by one of their parents. That was the beginning of her 44 days of torture that led to her death. They fed her only cockroaches to eat, only her own urine to drink. She was hung from the ceiling and used as boxing bag. On her last day of custody, she begged for them to just kill her. They challenged her to a game of Mahjong Solitaire and told her if she won they?d let her go. She did win but instead of releasing her they beat her with iron barbells and set her legs, arms, face and stomach alight after pouring lighter fluid on them. She went into shock and died the next day. Her corpse was found stuffed into a concrete filled barrel on a tract of reclaimed land in Kōtō, Tokyo.
