Also thought like that for many many years. Did visit the Amsterdam show 3 years ago (wow, time flies) and really felt bad that I couldn't attend the last 2 years due to unfortunate personal situations at that time. It is really fun meeting the faces behind the names on GFY (and other webmaster boards). Besides that it's my personal experience that you can have easier access to affiliate managers afterwards once you talked to them in person on a show. If nothing fucks up this time I'll be there in September for sure!Comment

Jenni... I'm sure you have absolutely NO CLUE what that monument on the Dam square stands for. If you knew that it's the most important statue of our country to remember all the soldiers that were killed in World War II before we got back our freedom, I think you'd decided to show a bit more respect and keep this 'fun' pic within your personal collection instead of putting it on a public board.
When you are coming to Amsterdam this year and want to take pictures like this, please let me arrange another pole to lick. (I mean a legendary Amsterdammertje of course, you dirty-minded people)

Ok, I called again and I told them specifically that the people that have the event told me that there should be rooms available. Well he said had to ask his collegue about this and that he would call me back.
He called me back and said the booking was now confirmed, so I asked him why they first told me twice there was no rooms. He said because people keep using different names for the event they weren't sure who to accept and who not. Strange, because I did mention Webmaster Access as well as the Booking code when I first tried to get the rooms.
Anyway, it's sorted now. So if you try to book a room and they say it's sold out, just tell them the people that hired the whole hotel for those dates said there is rooms available.Comment
