I'll be starting to buy and sell Diablo's in January..

I have spend alot of times with both cars, and the question is do you want the rich history of what comes with Ferrari, F1, Monza and so on? or the mystic and dark and exotic world of Lamborghini?

Story goes that one day Mr. Lamborghini, owned a company that produced tractor.. One day paid a visit to Mr. Ferrari.. Mr. Lambo wanted the Ferrari a certain way and Mr. Ferrari said it comes in one way.. my way!.. So Mr. Lambo started a car company.. His way.. the rest is history...

The Ferrari for sure! 360 spider has been one of my favs ever since I saw it the first time in that silver/blue color.
Actually I think this is one of the few (perhaps only) Ferrari that doesn't look best when it's red.

I love that Ferrari but I'd go with the Lamborghini...more mystic, rarer etc. IMO

And I've never met anyone who didn't know what a Lamborghini was mike. Maybe not by sight but everyone seems to know the name.

I personally like the Diablo better, but I can understand why someone would take the Ferrari - there's just something about their style... damn, they are slick. But, since I have always considered the Lambo as being one level above Ferrari for pretty much my entire life, and diablo's style rocks, too, I would take the Lambo...

I also like silver much better than Yellow.

Quite correct. They claim it can do the 1/4 mile in 9.2. I've seen it do 9.5 or 9.7. The Hennesay Viper can't even touch that, even though I'd rather have the viper

Oh btw, I thought the diablo was closer to $300k, like $275k. $200k sounds cheap.

Lambo for sure. Ferrari is nice but it will always be in second place to the Lambo.
Not to mention I see 200 Ferrari's for every 1 Lambo.
Buying a Ferrari is liking running in a 20 mile race and giving up 10 feet from the finish line. Just hold out a little longer and buy a Lambo.

Performance-wise, the Ferrari has the advantage, 0-100 in 11.7 and 100-0 in even less, a red-line limited 170-something mph top end and mid-engine layout results in a near 45-55 weight distrobution which can't be denied.

That being said, you give up a fair amount in 'comfort' (quotes, because comfort is subject to your perspective) with a considerably stiffer suspension and much more feedback via the wheel, transmission and in throttle response.

As an electrical engineer who works in the racing industry by day, I'd have to say that the 360 is a hands-down winner.

That being said... I'd rather put a '59 Buick on the road and save the supercars for the track.

I've driven a Ferrari 355, and that was fucking incredible! The 355 is supposedly better than the Diablo when it come to handling and driveability (it ain't just about top speed and acceleration - that's why you see bugger all Corvettes in Europe ) and the 360 is supposedly better than the 355...

I'd still rather have one of these though - cheaper, faster and more exclusive. Being English, I'm also somewhat biased - TVR basically IS the British car industry...

TVR... and let's not forget Aston! I've seen a few of 'em run at Watkins Glen and clean up in their class. Why? Combination of things.. including weight distrobution, smoother torque delivery (particularily compared to LS1 350s and 377s you'll find under the bonnet of Corvettes), and a chassis designed with a small polar moment (ie low overhang leading to quicker steering response) and tight roll axis (yielding many performance advantages, including wheel & camber rates which increase the effective traction capacity of the tyres).
