also epoch isn't available to canada, or wasnt last i checked. so that eliminates canadian companies
but yes its mainly because affiliates were more familiar with ccbill

I like Epoch, but for years they really haven't bothered to refine their affiliate program and make it as user friendly as CC Bill. Which is too bad because a lot, and I mean a lot, more webmasters would use it. And so would a lot more affiliates especially with them offering Paypal now. I could be wrong, but I think they use a third party content manager for everything and it's dated and limited in what you can do with it. Might be something they could do in the future, or not.Comment

If im correct CCBill was the first for a number of years. When Epoch finally got noticed most were comfortable with ccbill and just never moved away.

Our plan is that we use ccbill for now, while building customer and affiliate base, add epoch cascading so affiliates are credited, as we continue using ccbills user management etc.Comment
