    Republicans in Congress repel Obamacare

    Oh my bad they haven't done shit in their first month, just like they didn't do shit the last 2 years and the 2 years before that. All they do is cry Obama, Obama, Obama.. Seems the big bad black man is still keeping the GOP down..

    Isn't it funny how they kept telling everyone that their number one goal was to do away with ACA if elected.. Yet they seem quiet as church mice about it since they were elected.

    Republicans in Congress can't do their jobs..

                                  they are doing their job. they got a wall street dereg passed thru the last budget bill. They passed keystone. they might shut down the DHS over immigration. they are doing a lot if you pay them.

                                  besides you know the current parties only philosophy is to stop the growth of government. so them doing nothing is an accomplishment in their minds.

                                      I am not faithful to any party (although, of course, as any quality citizen I tend to prefer right rather than left), let alone "beloved".

                                          When are Republicans ever against corporate welfare? ACA is corporate welfare for the insurance companies and Big Pharma and those guys donate to both sides of the aisle.

I totally understand as we both have this same thing in common, believe it or not I too would be embarrassed to call myself a Republican, so I know exactly where you are coming from.

                                              I'm still curious though as you never addressed the subject matter of this topic. Why is it do you think the Republican led Congress can not do their job? Do you think they will be a lame duck congress given their dismal performance so far?

In high school my "Don't switch dick's in the middle of a screw, vote for Nixon in '72" t-shirt caused endless friction in our family and pretty much ended their offer to pay for my college.

                                                                                              Not being a good Republican was a major turning point in my life. Sorry I'm not someone you can automatically look down on and despise.

                                                                                                                                              First thing they do, is come into their new found power and try to push an anti abortion bill. A bill that 75% of the country would be against. In fact they couldn't even get their bill past the woman in their own party so it died before even being brought up to vote.. Fail.

                                                                                                                                              Now the Republicans have the opportunity to show that they want to lead and work on behalf of the entire country. Yet their opening shot was just like usual narrow minded political games, meant to appease their extreme right wing religious nuts by regulating woman's bodies..

                                                                                                                                              Next they move on to the Keystone pipe line. That big black bad guy in the oval office, told them from the start he will veto any bill that tries to pass the Keystone pipeline.

                                                                                                                                              This gave Republicans 3 choices..

                                                                                                                                              1) Work with Obama to put together something he could support. Failed..

                                                                                                                                              2) Work with Democrats and put together a bill that has a veto proof majority. Once again Failed..

                                                                                                                                              3) Ignore working on a pipe line deal which once again 75% of America does not want and instead show actual leadership skills to do something positive for America. Then go back and try to work with Obama & Democrats to pass a Keystone bill showing they are willing to give & take.. Again Fail..

                                                                                                                                              Simply put Republicans have shown us, that they can not lead and will continue to push legislation that only benefits a very narrow segment of their base. The worst part is they are so arrogant that they pretend to be outraged when it doesn't work..

                                                                                                                                              Next we will see a topic from Venzilla whining about Obama vetoing the Keystone pipeline bill and you guys will circle jerk over it when Obama does exactly what he said he would do..

                                                                                                                                              Meaning Republicans have accomplished absolutely nothing during their first 30 days other than show America how arrogant they are.

                                                                                                                                                                      Next they move on to the Keystone pipe line. That big black bad guy in the oval office, told them from the start he will veto any bill that tries to pass the Keystone pipeline.

                                                                                                                                                                      This gave Republicans 3 choices..

                                                                                                                                                                      1) Work with Obama to put together something he could support. Failed..

                                                                                                                                                                      2) Work with Democrats and put together a bill that has a veto proof majority. Once again Failed..

                                                                                                                                                                      3) Ignore working on a pipe line deal which once again 75% of America does not want and instead show actual leadership skills to do something positive for America. Then go back and try to work with Obama & Democrats to pass a Keystone bill showing they are willing to give & take.. Again Fail..

                                                                                                                                                                      Simply put Republicans have shown us, that they can not lead and will continue to push legislation that only benefits a very narrow segment of their base. The worst part is they are so arrogant that they pretend to be outraged when it doesn't work..

                                                                                                                                                                      Next we will see a topic from Venzilla whining about Obama vetoing the Keystone pipeline bill and you guys will circle jerk over it when Obama does exactly what he said he would do..

                                                                                                                                                                      Meaning Republicans have accomplished absolutely nothing during their first 30 days other than show America how arrogant they are.

                                                                                                                                                                                          The simple fact is the House is acting just the same as they did when Democrats controlled the Senate. They are pushing "shit" bills to the Senate which get turned down by the Senate. Why? Because Republicans in the House are at ends with each other due to moderates and the crazies not being able to agree with themselves, let alone Democrats.

                                                                                                                                                                                          This results in Boners sending shitty bills to the Senate which get kicked to the curb the moment they arrive. In fact the House sent the exact same bill 3 times and was kicked to the curb 3 times by the Senate, with John Boner somehow expecting a different result from the first time it was kicked.. ie the problem all along has been Republican lack of leadership in the House as everyone with any common sense has seen for a long time.
