I may be a little biased but to me it looks like Croatia is definitely 'overvalued'.
Austria on the other hand is considered by the bookies the worst team, but I wouldn't be surprised if they reached the next round after beating for example Croatia.
Just remember, how they scored 3 goals to Holland in first half, and they are obviously the host so that also plays a role.
I wonder how Poland will do. This is the first time Poland qualified to the Euro tournament, they were even 3-rd in the world in the 70's or 80's but never ever qualified to an Euro-tournament.
The anticipation is huge, considering also that the Dutch Leo Beenhakker is Poland's coach, and there has been huge demand for a foreign coach because the polish one's suck and have wrong mentality and not much authority among the players.
Poland's first game is against Germany on Sunday and there's huge anticipation for this game, Poland never beat Germanty so far and there're also many patriotic/historic values mixed into this game from the perspective of some polish fans.
Should be a good game and great tournament overall
The next Euro, Euro2012 is gonna take place in Poland and the Ukraine BTW.

and somehow i have a positive feeling about poland, i think they'll at least go through first round.

Switzerland vs Czech goes on since 10 minutes, it may sound like a boring game, but it's quite a fast and dynamic game so far.
I predict Switzerland or draw.

OK, no problem just trying to play to my advantages. ;)
Anyway, I'm not going to pretend that they or I even have a chance of winning this, most boring game in the tournament. The france team is like loose pussies, bitching on each other and argue on one another for throw ins. Not a good team spirit in that team.
After seeing Holland and Italy play I doubt France will make it to the quarter finals.

holy shit, im probably biased but holland - italy was the most enjoyable game so far in the tournament... noone expected it, i sure as hell didnt... if holland keeps playing like this they are definately final material, completely the opposite of my predictions... but i have my theory.
In the last 2 years of preperations van basten was cruyffs battyboy, bitch, whatever you wanna call it. Because Cruyff is too chickenshit to coach the national team himself, he adviced and interfered and played a part in the coaching in the background - without any responsibilty, because he doesnt want to take responsibility to keep his legend alive (he turned down 3(!) offers to be the national coach in the past).
This 'advicing' took place during the entire preparation period of the dutch team, where they have played the worst football in the history of dutch football.
Until right before the tournament started: Van basten and cruyff got into a little fight and havent talked to eachother since. The result: 3-0 victory on the world champion. ...Coincidence?Comment

It wouldn't surprise me to see Russia winning.
Remember Zenit St. Petersburg? I heard lots of these players play for Russia as well.
If someone wants to gamble, he should put money on Russia and multiply his stake 5.5 for example at Ladbrokes, if they win. For Spain, they give only 1.66.
