    Content Producers - Opinion on New Model Scenario

    I've got a HOT 19 year old new model that's a marine and fresh to adult, as most all of mine are. He has a new photographer friend he met off CL a few days before arriving at his first shoot with me. The "photographer" is 41 & shoots out of his house, no studio, no production company name. This photographer gives him a ride to my shoot and is waiting in town for him to finish and take him home.

    The model shows up asking a million questions, raises red flags. So I start asking back, and find out the above. I prime him on that photographer scenario. I start shooting, he's nervous, I get him comfortable. 45 minutes into it, it's time to cum. He can't, but still rock hard. 4 hours later, yes 4, I gave up. Still rock hard. No pay. No worries, tell him it happens and we'll schedule another time.

    Today I get a text, he wants some of the pics for a modeling gig he's applying for.

    What do you do? Sound shady as fuck or what? Something this other "photographer" up to that I'm not getting?

          Correct. I don't pay when a shoot isn't completed. It's only happened a handful of times. I pay them when they come back and complete the shoot. I paid half before, the model never returned, and I had no useable content.

          When you shoot, and it's not complete, you pay?

              It is weird that he wouldn't come back then. He'd want to get paid for his previous work.

              I dunno, I'm not a pro shooter. I doubt its common for anyone to provide free shots for a model portfolio though. Maybe you could offer to sell him the pics and offer to teach his friend for a fee.

                  you might want to give him just a couple of photos just so he can apply for the job he's applying for. you have the photos and you did not pay him so maybe that will serve as a payment since he did it for free. he may not be able to give you what you wanted but at least you did see he tried his best.

                      Thanks for your input. When you shoot a series of models over a few days and one asks you to give them pics the day after, have you done it?

                      I'm busy categorizing all my shoots right now from the last two days. No time to hand pic shots for this guy, color correct, downsize, watermark, etc. so he can get work with someone else.

                      The model worked for free, and I worked for free. Now he wants me to work for more for free.

                          Sounds like you should cut him loose, buddy. You can find another HOT 19 year old straight marine boy. Who knows, he might come back to finish the shoot when he needs money.

                              B) Unable to cum AND stayed hard for over four hours? There's a warning about that on the little bottle of blue pills.

                                  Yeah no shortage in the hot guy department the 19 year old is more trouble then he's worth. Keeps texting me now wanting to finish the shoot, annoying. First three of last two days shoots I've finished categorizing below (raw pics ) The model of discussion is not pictured below BTW



                                  I'm just wondering what's really up though. Something seems fishy with his scenario, can't put my finger on it. Any ideas?

                                              In that case, I'd let him finish the shoot. Forgiveness for a newbie mistake will make you both feel better in the long run, plus the first four hours won't be a total waste. Give him one hour, tops, and insist he's not on anything.

                                              But, unless it's in his agreement, there's no reason to give him a photoset.

                                              (...and you can send the guy from Pic 1 over to me for a Couple Cam Show any time. Pic 2 maybe, while we're at it. I'll pass on Pic 3.)

                                                  Nah it's just been my experience that models with boyfriends, girlfriends, or industry friends have an extra voice in their ear, and often times it's manipulative in a bad way, or pumping up the model to be more then they are, etc.

                                                  The fact this guy has a 41yr old CL amateur shooter friend, working out of his apartment with roommates, giving the model advice, etc. doesn't sound like a good scenario. I'll finish the shoot with him next week and have a talk to see where's he's at.

I did a scene with a Navy guy a couple years ago and, midway through editing, he called me, out of his mid upset. Begged me not to release it, offered to give the money back. Massive cold feet after someone told him he could be dishonorably discharged for "questionable moral character."

                                                              I didn't release it, of course. I don't need that kind of bad karma.

                                                                  Your gut instinct is telling you that this new friend is his new pimp and has an upper hand on influencing the model. Such is life. Get what you can out of the model, and move on.
                                                                  We have always given models up to 5 select images with our mark carefully positioned. They receive this after signing off on the an addendum to the original agreement which reminds them that the images are our IP and not theirs, and that they cannot alter or misrepresent the image or the owner of them in any way, or else suffer pre agreed monetary damages.

                                                                          Once you have usable content from the guy, it might be nice to give him a couple sample pics for his portfolio. Obviously, there are only so many hours in the day, so you can't be spending resources editing pics you can't use.

                                                                          It us always annoying to work with anyone who has some amateur creep with loads of time whispering bad advice in their ear. I feel really sorry for models who are susceptible to that. Did creepy CraigsList suggest the supplement which messed up his performance for your shoot?

                                                                                  Pic 3 was a challenge, but a really great guy that drove a couple hours for the shoot and is another active military guy.

                                                                                  Pic 2 is a very straight submissive with no bravado at all. He's 20 6'4 and his dick is 8 inches, I know in that pic it looks smaller. He's very eager, clean and signed exclusively with my studio, as well as pic 1 This was his first shoot ever. He was very nervous, it took a little time, but he did well.

                                                                                      It can be annoying when you find out it's negative advice. So we prime the amateur photog / scout like we prime the amateur model. I have his contact info, I'll call him tomorrow. It's a continuing cycle of teaching newbies the REAL way things work instead of their misconceptions. I enjoy it. Fostering new talent & relationships is something that never gets old and always bring new challenges, surprises and growth.

                                                                                                                          At least it should be agreed that you pay x amount for nude x amount if hard and x amount if he comes.

                                                                                                                          If a female model told me she did 4 hours and not got paid just because she did not come, I would be at that photographers house in five mins getting the cash of him.

                                                                                                                          If your not going to pay then at least it should be a tfp basis.

                                                                                                                          What this other photographer plans has nothing to do with you, as your not paying the model.

                                                                                                                                  I would have cut this shoot way before it reached the point it is now....as soon as any red flag appeared ... start talking them out of the shoot.... if the model won't walk just say I'm not sure you're ready for this.... even to the point of paying a $100 kill fee to get rid of them... you're going to have endless issues with this situation and lose more than $100 in the long run... even if it's just in fucking aggravation

                                                                                                                                      I am pro shooter....free pics isn't an issue... just shoot a few real fast and give them to the model.... no big deal.. not being able to sell the content is the issue. give the content to the assholes.... doing you no good..
